As President of DER Interiors, Derek Perini brings 30 years of experience with all aspects of interior design and interior architectural design, including programming, design development, and construction documentation. His expertise spans a variety of project types, including all levels of Senior Living, Multifamily, Hospitality and Higher Education.

Derek works closely with clients to develop design solutions that support their goals and programming objectives. His mentoring approach to team management has been the key to maintaining staff retention and development and creating a sought-after interior design studio.

As a natural progression of his lifelong passion and dedication to the field of interior design, Derek founded DER Interiors in 2024. His career includes leadership positions at some of the most respected design firms in the industry. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior and Environmental Design from Lebanon Valley College and attented Pennsylvania College of Art & Design for an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology in Interior and Environmental Design.
